How Much Concrete Do You Need for a 10×10 Slab?

A 10×10 slab at the standard 4 inches thick needs about 1.23 cubic yards of concrete, which works out to roughly 56 bags of 80 lb mix before any waste allowance. Add 10 percent for spillage and uneven ground and most people order 62 bags, or about 1.36 cubic yards from a ready mix truck.
